Set up a Company Limited by Guarantee

As part of this package, we’ll set up your charity as a company limited by guarantee. This package includes:

• an initial consultation with a Sprintlaw lawyer
• registration of 1 company limited by guarantee with Companies Office
• an application for NZBN registration for 1 business

You’ll also receive an electronic company register pack, including the Certificate of Registration, Constitution, Share Certificates, Register of Members, and all required resolutions and consents.

Your legal consultant will then send you an email with more information about the services you need, along with a fixed-fee quote setting out the costs, scope of work and timing. If you’re happy with the scope, you can accept and sign our engagement letter online.

Once you’ve formally accepted, we’ll connect you with a specialist lawyer who will work with you to complete your project. They’ll contact you by email or phone if needed.

This package starts at $1,200 + GST. This includes the initial government fee to set up your Company Limited by Guarantee.
